The FS3000-1005 air flow velocity sensor module is a lightweight surface mount flow sensor designed to measure direct current air flow velocities up to 15 meters per second. FS3000 is suitable for applications such as air handling systems, HVAC systems, analytical gas monitoring systems, data centers, and air quality systems. It can detect faults in fans or blowers, fan speed control failures, or filter blockages.
The traditional method for monitoring the temperature of key components is to use the temperature sensor array or internal temperature sensor in the MCU to measure the temperature. These methods are not only inaccurate but also complex, as each system board needs to be modeled separately. FS3000 can measure DC local flow velocity, allowing system control to make quick adjustments. By providing closed-loop control, the system can reduce its energy consumption cost.
The FS3000 air flow rate module adopts a series of MEMS thermocouples or thermopiles with high sensitivity. Thanks to the reliable thermal isolation effect of active MEMS sensing elements and silicon carbide thin film coatings, this device has excellent wear resistance and long-term reliability.
