Allegro MicroSystems ACS37800 is a power sensor that can sense voltages up to 60VDC and currents up to 30A. Greatly simplifying the process of adding power monitoring to many power supply systems, it is very suitable for high current applications, such as monitoring the power consumption of 3D printers, monitoring the battery level of drones, charging/adjusting solar/photovoltaic panel power monitoring
Allegro's Hall effect based current isolation current sensing technology achieves enhanced isolation ratings in a smaller PCB footprint. These features make isolated current sensing possible without the power loss of expensive Roche coils, ultra-high current transformers, isolated operational amplifiers, or shunt resistors.
The ACS37800 power monitoring IC provides key power measurement parameters that can be easily accessed through its digital interface. Provide dedicated and configurable 1/0 pins for voltage/current zero crossing undervoltage and overvoltage reporting, as well as fast overcurrent fault detection. The user configuration of 1C can be obtained through on-chip EEPROM.
Our Arduino library makes it easy to add ACS37800 to your project. We have also written a configuration example that you can use to check and change all settings of ACS37800 through an IDE serial monitor or terminal emulator.
